Rules will drive FICC to electronic markets, report says

Deutsche Bank has released a report predicting that one outcome of regulatory changes for over-the-counter derivatives is that fixed-income, commodity and currency transactions of investment banks will be driven to electronic platforms during the next three years. "We expect the general trend of FICC trading moving to electronic venues to accelerate over the next two to three years," according to the report.
