Several conservatives signal support for MLP plan for renewables

Several conservative lawmakers and groups have expressed their support for a bill that would allow renewable-energy developers to organize master limited partnerships, a business arrangement which is currently limited to oil, natural gas and coal-mining projects. "There should be a level playing field and people should have access to similar tax and business structures," said James Valvo, director of policy for Americans for Prosperity.
