Shop uses a bicycle-powered ice cream machine

Edward Belden, who previously sold ice cream from the back of his bicycle, has now opened a storefront in Los Angeles. The shop, called Peddler's Creamery, features a bicycle that Belden pedals to run the machine that produces batches of the frosty treat. Belden uses organic ingredients from California to create his ice cream, and he says the bicycle-churn concept is part of his commitment to sustainability.
