Stanford spinout debuts lithium-ion batteries with nanowires

Amprius, a spinout from Stanford University, has developed lithium-ion batteries with silicon nanowire anodes that are said to greatly boost the energy density of such batteries. The company's batteries could be used in electric vehicles, among other applications.
