Study reveals habits, preferences of U.K. mobile searchers

Four in 10 U.K. mobile users searching for products or services said they intended to make a purchase within a day of searching, according to a study by xAd and Telmetrics. Those with such immediate intentions were 14% more likely to use smartphones than tablets. Location was also an important factor, with half of mobile users looking for locations within walking or driving distance.
