Teaching math across subjects concerns some Mass. parents

A Massachusetts elementary school has adopted a new way of teaching in which core subjects, such as math, reading and writing, are infused throughout the school's curriculum. Some parents say the move has led to an over-emphasis on math. School officials contend the new approach reflects how math is used in the real world.
