Travelers face delays at NYC airports due to furloughs

The furloughs of air traffic controllers imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration caused flight delays in New York City on Monday. "Controllers will space planes farther apart so they can manage traffic with current staff, which will lead to delays at airports including New York's LaGuardia," the FAA said. Travelers at John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport also faced delays.
