Why resumes should be short, but supplemented, to be effective

Good resumes are short but can be supplemented with an executive summary and leadership briefs, according to a new white paper by the Career Thought Leaders Consortium. Author and career coach Nancy Collamer in this article lists recommendations from the report, including learning how to fully employ LinkedIn as a networking and job search tool. "Having a sharp LinkedIn profile may be even more important than having a great resume," report co-editor Louise Kursmark said.
