Cablevision To Provide $17.4 Million In Rebates

Cablevision yesterday said it would give rebates of at least $.55 a month to MSG Network subscribers who haven't been able to watch Yankees games because of Cablevision's refusal to carry YES network. YES chairman Leo Hindery praised the move, but noted that the rebates amount to only a fraction of YES's $2 per subscriber carriage fee, which Cablevision has refused to pay.
