Sears Canada to continue with price-drop programme

At Sears Canada's annual meeting, President and CEO Dene Rogers said the department store operator used several strategies to keep prices low. Now, as the Canadian dollar has dropped from near parity with the US dollar, Sears Canada is planning to keep those strategies. Rogers also explains other key initiatives aimed at boosting sales, including the introduction of brands aimed at 30- to 40-year-old women.
