Alpina yogurt plant to open in Batavia, N.Y.

Alpina Foods, based in South America, is opening its first U.S. facility, a yogurt plant in Batavia, N.Y. The plant will make single-serve traditional and Greek yogurt, as well as mix-ins, and will include research and development capacity.
