Amazon enters the B2B market

Amazon is expanding into the business-to-business market by offering a half-million commercial and industrial products. The new site, called AmazonSupply, includes categories such as "cutting tools and hydraulics" and "janitorial and sanitation." "The Web site itself has an industrial feel, with very little art or illustration and a fairly extensive browsable index of products," Tricia Duryee writes.
