Google fires the latest shot in cloud-storage wars

Google has launched its Drive online-storage competitor to Dropbox and Box Inc. The cloud service allows businesses to upload photos, documents and videos to a server and access them using mobile devices. Google is offering five gigabytes of free storage to counter Dropbox's 2 GB, just as Microsoft has dropped free storage on its SkyDrive from 25 GB to 7 GB.
