CenturyLink objects to Provo, Utah's green light for Google Fiber

City officials in Provo, Utah, sold their troubled municipal fiber-optic system to Google on Tuesday over the protest of CenturyLink, which asked for a 30-day delay so it could file a formal objection to the move. Google plans to convert the iProvo network to a gigabit Google Fiber service similar to its Kansas City operation.
