Chicago-area retail center called "game changer" to open doors soon

Fashion Outlets of Chicago, a $250 million retail center, is slated to open this summer. The 530,000-square-foot complex is the area's first enclosed shopping center to be developed in the past 10 years. Macerich and AWE Talisman are developing the center, which is seen as a "game changer" for the area typically viewed as a convention and business hub.
