GlycoMimetics CEO chosen as new BIO chairwoman

GlycoMimetics President and CEO Rachel King has been elected as the 2013-2014 chairwoman of BIO, succeeding former Human Genome Sciences CEO Tom Watkins. King has been a part of national policy discussions with BIO and was among the group's representatives at a 2011 meeting on the approval process with FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg.
