Groups: New FCC members should prioritize minority participation

The White House's picks for the open spots on the Federal Communications Commission should recognize the importance of minority and female participation in media, according to a letter to President Barack Obama from the Minority Media & Telecommunications Council, the NAACP, the Benton Foundation and nearly 50 other groups.
