HHS updates standards for culturally sensitive care

HHS on Wednesday introduced an updated blueprint of 15 standards for enhancing cultural and language-appropriate health care services. “Disparities have prevented improved outcomes in our health and healthcare system for far too long," said HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Howard Koh. “The enhanced CLAS Standards provide a platform for all persons to reach their full health potential.”
