Chua Tian Chu, deputy CEO of Meritus Hotels & Resorts, told an audience at the latest HVS China Hotel Investment Conference in Shanghai that hotels don't have to reposition themselves all at once. "Brand standards are not fixed. They’re evolving and a lot are depending on the market," he said. "You don’t have to do everything at once.
