House Republicans dismiss "repeal and replace" bill

A measure to strengthen an Affordable Care Act fund to help people with pre-existing conditions was shelved by House Republican leaders Wednesday amid opposition from conservative groups. Club for Growth and other organizations opposed the bill to redirect money from a public health fund to the pre-existing conditions fund, saying Republicans have no business in shoring up parts of the ACA.
