Jeans retailer combines mobile convenience with brick-and-mortar experience

Former Amazon executive Nadia Shouraboura founded Hointer, a jeans retailer that allows shoppers to scan tags with smartphones and select sizes that are delivered to a dressing room and then check out via tablets when it's time to pay. The retailer, which launched in Seattle last year, will open a store in Palo Alto, Calif., next week.
