McDonald's Middle East offers tips for international franchise success

McDonald's success in the Middle East is due in part to a growing middle class in the region, and brands looking to expand there should focus on supply-chain control, finding the right real estate and supporting franchisees, McDonald's Middle East Development Company's Managing Director Yousef Abdulghani said during the International Franchise Forum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. McDonald's has almost 900 units in 17 Middle East markets and plans to open 500 more units there over the next three years.
