Obama unveils mentoring initiative at White House Science Fair

President Barack Obama on Monday announced at the third annual White House Science Fair that his administration plans to recruit 1 million science, technology, engineering and math mentors for students. Ten education nonprofits and large tech firms, including Cisco Systems, have agreed to participate in the effort, which involves having 20% of each company's workforce dedicate 20 hours a year to mentoring STEM students.
