Ohio State saves $2 million annually through privatization

Ohio State University has had four private cleaning companies on campus since fall 2012, and the university estimates it will save $2 million per year by doing so. "We are a very large campus and have found that using a mix of in-house custodial staff as well as outside vendors is an efficient way to meet our diverse maintenance needs," said university official Lindsay Komlanc.
