Panera Co-CEO to step down this summer to deal with 'family matter'

Panera president and co-CEO Bill Moreton will transition out of the post into the role of executive vice chairman in the coming months, citing a family matter that will keep him from the travel the higher-profile position requires. Founder and co-CEO Ron Shaich will once again be the company's only CEO when the transition is finalized in August, the company said.
