Sequester could ground NASA missions in 2014, official says

William Gerstenmaier, NASA's chief of human exploration, told members of Congress that the sequester could delay missions beyond low-Earth orbit in 2014. "[I]f it continues into '14, the programs and timetables I described, I don't believe we can continue to support it," he said to a subcommittee on science and space.
