SIGTARP report discusses small-business lending and big banks

A quarterly report by the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program says banks that exited TARP through the Small Business Lending Fund "have not effectively increased lending to small businesses, and are significantly underperforming compared to non-TARP banks in SBLF." The report also says some large financial institutions still maintain a close relationship, which could threaten the world economy.
