Spas have an average yearly growth rate of 35% to 40% in the Koramangala neighborhood of Bangalore, India, as professionals increasingly view massages and relaxation as more than an occasional indulgence. "Corporate people and techies inhabit the place, and that is where 70 percent of our clientele is from. As disposable income is higher for this group, spending in a spa for relaxation is more of a recurring necessity for them than a luxury," said Four Fountains Spa owner Rashmi Pawar.
