Sprint works out kinks in HD Voice, says launch is imminent

Sprint Nextel will begin rolling out its HD Voice service over Long-Term Evolution networks in several markets this quarter, after resolving service-quality problems encountered in recent field integration testing. The telecom, which had planned to launch the service in Q1, said HD Voice would be limited at first, and it could take several months before interoperability issues are resolved.
