U.S. will continue operating drones in Afghanistan after 2014, official says

U.S. drones will remain in Afghanistan to support Afghan security forces after most international troops withdraw from the region in 2014, according to Air Force Major Gen. H.D. Polumbo Jr. Air Force figures show that drones were employed in Afghanistan more than 400 times in 2012 and more than 200 times each year from 2009 through 2011.
