Searching away from the desktop

Since 2008, Google has been pouring resources into making search via mobile phones and devices more effective. They have been successful with a voice-activated search tool and made strides with an image-search function called Google Goggles. Google has also found that mobile search isn't yet taking away search traffic from desktop search, but that it's taking place at different times of day when people aren't at work or home.
