Calif. university's concrete apartment bags LEED Platinum rating

The 516-unit Charles David Keeling Apartments made from cast-in-place concrete at the University of California, San Diego, achieved LEED Platinum certification. The building is the first student facility in the state's university system to acquire LEED Platinum and the first new building at the university to meet Platinum standards.
