Phosphate ban leads to dishwashing innovations

Dishwashing experts at General Electric say consumers can fight the cloudy residue sometimes left behind on dishes by using a detergent booster. Observers say the residue has been a concern for consumers ever since the dish-detergent industry agreed to stop using phosphates. Church & Dwight has released a dishwashing booster that targets cloudy film, stains and food particles.
