Air Force seeks foundry to make submicron MMICs

To guarantee a supply of chips for advanced radar systems, the Air Force has issued a solicitation for a foundry to make monolithic microwave ICs developed by the USAF. The Air Force has developed 0.14-micron aluminum gallium nitride and gallium nitride on silicon carbide processes for such MMICs.
