Amazon's store offers developers the numbers that count

Up against dramatically less competition, developers are finding they can make more money writing for the Amazon App Store than other distribution outlets, according to App Annie, which is finalizing its Amazon analytics product. "Amazon Appstore's revenue per user tops that of Google Play, or even iOS, in some cases," Sarah Perez writes. Some developers favor the store because Amazon's popular Kindle Fire runs on Android, making porting easy, and Amazon's reach is expanding, John Koetsier writes.
