Comet drenched Jupiter's atmosphere with water, scientists say

Researchers believe the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, which hit Jupiter in 1994, has drenched 95% the planet's atmosphere with water. Photos taken from the European Space Agency's Herschel space observatory, then superimposed over a photo of the planet taken by the Hubble space telescope, show most of the southern hemisphere covered, while less water was found in the northern part of the atmosphere.
