Danone Institute, nutrition groups to study health effects of yogurt

The Danone Institute International is partnering with the American Society for Nutrition and the U.K.'s Nutrition Society to study the nutritional benefits of yogurt, including its role in nutrient deficiencies and disease prevention. They also hope to identify populations that could benefit from increased yogurt consumption. The group plans to hold conferences annually to release their findings.
