Engineers develop steering wheel for rocket car

Biomimicry and crowd sourcing as well as considerations of handgrip shape and location of buttons and switches are all factors in the development of a steering wheel for a U.K. rocket-powered car. Engineers at Cambridge Design Partnership are designing the wheel for the Bloodhound Project, a car designed to set a land speed record of more than 1,000 miles per hour.
