Experts tie practice support to better markers in PCMH shift

Practice redesign and care management support were associated with better care quality and efficiency in small or solo physician practices that were shifting to a patient-centered medical home, a study in the Journal of General Internal Medicine indicated. Researchers did not observe changes in quality and efficiency in control practices.
