FTC posts Q&A on new COPPA privacy rules

The Federal Trade Commission posted a new frequently asked questions document covering the purpose and practical implications of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act rules. "The primary goal of COPPA is to place parents in control over what information is collected from their young children (under 13) online," the FTC notes.
