Maine governor OKs suicide prevention bill

Maine Gov. Paul LePage on Thursday signed into law a bill that will require public school educators across the state to undergo training in detecting students at risk for committing suicide. “The devastating effect suicide has on Maine families and communities is real and we must be willing to address the issue,” LePage said.
