Plymouth, Minn., City Manager Laurie Ahrens says she will retire after a decade in the position. Ahrens, who has worked for the city for 25 years, will end a 35-year career in local government in July. "Much of my life has been devoted to this city, and leaving is no easy decision," she said. "I've had the opportunity to work with a city staff that is both talented and service oriented and city councils comprised of caring and knowledgeable individuals, devoted to the community and supportive of staff."
