Pentagon is looking at guidelines for contractor profits

The Pentagon is looking at guidelines for defense contractors to "align profitability more tightly" with affordability efforts, according to a memo from Frank Kendall, the Department of Defense's undersecretary for acquisition. Current profits "are not tied tightly enough to successful performance in meeting DoD goals," he said.
