Is there a rational reason to oppose marriage equality?

Blogger Erica Friedman writes that it's fine to oppose marriage rights for same-sex couples, just so long as opponents understand there are no rational reasons for doing so. "That leaves the fact that it just bugs the hell out of you. The world is changing and you do not like it. That's a valid reason, and a human one, but you know ... it's not rational," Friedman writes.
