Transvaginal sonogram best method for detecting ectopic pregnancy

An analysis of data from 14 studies found that transvaginal sonography is the most effective method for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy among women suffering from abdominal pain or bleeding during early pregnancy. The findings appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
