White House: Intelligence indicates Syria used chemical weapons

The U.S. intelligence community has determined "with varying degrees of confidence" that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons, according to a letter to senators from Miguel Rodriguez, director of the White House office of legislative affairs. Several senators said Thursday that the U.S. should increase its involvement in Syria in light of the intelligence report.
