Opinion: Establish voluntary national standard for education

President Barack Obama and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan have been discussing a voluntary national standard for the country's schools. Two Harvard Business School faculty members write that the standards should include rigor in reading, math and science, along with a focus on critical thinking and problem solving.
