Feds shut down 36 credit-card fraud sites

A joint effort by the Justice Department and the FBI dubbed Operation Wreaking hAVocC has shut down 36 Web domains that were selling stolen credit card numbers. The sites, called "automated vending carts" or AVCs, are set up like online retail sites and let shoppers fill a cart with stolen credit card data, Justice officials said.
