Google's ad model links e-mail and display formats

Google is testing a novel ad format that allows e-mail marketers to connect campaigns to paid-search advertising. A click-able "Get offers" box displayed within ads will automatically generate a Google e-mail address to those logged in. Reliable-SEO's Terry Van Horne called it a "cost per action" model. Google earlier had tested a "subscribe to newsletter" button but has expanded it for such items as coupon offers.
