Completion of L.A.'s I-405 widening project pushed back

Completion of the Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project in Los Angeles has been pushed back from this spring to June 2014. "Construction delays and unexpected costs" will add an additional $80 million to the $1 billion project to widen Interstate 405 in an attempt to reduce traffic congestion.
